Founded by The Hill Family, Hills Families exists to serve, uplift, and restore hope to individuals and families facing hardship through faith, compassion, and community outreach. We are committed to showing the love of Christ through action by providing support, encouragement, and resources to anyone in need — regardless of their background, circumstances, beliefs, or where they come from.
Our mission is to create a community where no one feels forgotten, alone, or unworthy of help, and where every person is treated with dignity, love, and compassion.
Our Purpose
Hills Families was founded on the belief that helping others is not just an act of kindness — it is a calling. Inspired by faith and driven by love for our community, our purpose is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving families and individuals during difficult seasons of life.
We strive to meet people where they are, offering hope in moments of despair, support in times of struggle, and compassion without judgment. Whether through food assistance, outreach programs, emergency support, holiday giving, encouragement, or simple acts of kindness, our goal is to remind every person that they matter and they are not alone.
At Hills Families, we believe compassion has no boundaries and love has no limits. We are here to serve all people — regardless of race, income, past mistakes, religion, status, or circumstance — because every life has value and every family deserves hope.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14

About Our Family
We are a veteran husband-and-wife team, blessed with a beautiful family that is the heart of everything we do. Our journey—both in service and in life—has shaped who we are and deepened our commitment to something greater than ourselves: serving others with purpose, faith, and unwavering compassion.
Through the campaign and our time in community, John had the opportunity to meet countless individuals whose stories left a permanent mark on our hearts. We listened to their struggles, their resilience, and their needs—stories that cannot be ignored and lives that deserve to be seen, heard, and valued. Those moments became more than experiences; they became a calling.
Out of that calling, this nonprofit was born.
We are not just building an organization—we are building a family. A family of individuals who share the same fire in their hearts: to give back, to stand in the gap for others, and to bring hope where it feels lost. We believe service is not just something we do—it is who we are.
Guided by faith, strengthened by love, and driven by purpose, we are committed to walking alongside families in need and reminding them they are never alone.
This is more than a mission. This is our life’s work.
